<b><u>Southern Electric.</b></u><p>A 1925 Metro/BRCW 'Dorking' type unit (thank you Clive Standen for pointing that out) No. 4320 carries the headcode dot over L indicating a service from Horsham to London Bridge via Mitcham Junction which is the location of this shot. The station is just beyond the road bridge whilt the line to Wimbledon, now Croydon Tramlink, is just visible in the right background.

<b><u>Southern Electric.</b></u><p>Where it all began for your truly !!!<p>This is Norbury station looking towards Thornton Heath and the footbridge in the background is where I and my brothers honed their trainspotting skills. 4-SUB unit 4173 is the centrepiece of this quite delightful view but the date is not known.Previous | Next<b><u>Southern Electric.</b></u><br>4-LAV unit 2952 rolls past Purley Oaks station on July 7th, 1963. The subject is actually a very small part of an Ansco 35mm colour slide hence the lesser quality of the image.
