<b><u>Southern Electric.</b></u><br>Bulleid 4-SUB 4661 departs Wimbledon for points north which I had surmised would be a stopper to Waterloo until Peter Nyholm kindly sent me the following notes:<br><i>Technically this most probably did not actually stop at Earlsfield, Clapham Junc, and Vauxhall as it must have been a Headcode 42 from Guildford via Cobham leaving platform 6 non-stop to Waterloo. The 4-car configuration suggests midday operation.</i><br> The picture was taken shortly after the 2-Wim units on the West Croydon service were replaced by 2-EPB's which would be 1954.
